Spring Hill Elementary Creed

Spring Hill Elementary is a school of excellence.

All of our students have the ability to reach their fullest potential.  The level a child is on today by no means is an indicator of where they will end; it is only a directive of where to begin.  Our students will accept and expect only the best.  Cannot is a word used only in association with failure.  Spring Hill Elementary is the foundation for every child who enters to become great leaders, teachers, world changers, and productive citizens in our society.

By Pamela L. P. Bailey, Principal

Mission Statement

Spring Hill Elementary will be a school of exemplary standards that produce exemplary students.

Core Beliefs

We believe…

1.     Building on the strengths of a child enhances achievement—success breeds success.

2.     Teaching the “whole child”—socially, emotionally and academically—is essential for success

3.     Effective communication between school, parent, and community is important to a quality education for all students.

4.     Prepared teachers with consistent high expectations for all students is evident in a model school excellence.

5.     A model school of excellence is one where laughter, respectful language and positive words of praise are heard from teacher to student, from student to teacher and from student to student.

6.     All children can learn and it is our (my) job to see that they do.

7.     We (I) have the skills and will to make a difference in the learning of each child.  Failure is not an option.

8.     Each faculty/staff member is responsible for the learning of every child in our school.  We share collective responsibility for their learning.
